The visit of the President of Estonia to Ukraine will shift the case of Sky Mall from the deadlock.

On May 22 — 24, 2018, the President of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid, has paid an official visit to Ukraine. The visit aroused the interest of the Ukrainian mass-media, which covered various aspects of diplomatic meetings and negotiations with Petro Poroshenko, Volodymyr Groysman, representatives of legislative and executive powers, entrepreneurs and the third sector.
Kersti Kaljulaid discussed such strategically important issues as the prospects of European integration, the growth of trade between Ukraine and Estonia and the development of economic relations between countries, the increase in the level of business education and humanitarian cooperation.
Despite a wide range of issues discussed, the main mass-media tags were the relevance of the combating corruption for the development of Ukraine, the «difficult situation» of Estonian investors, who faced problems of corruption and the lack of rule of law in Ukraine, as well as plans and prospects for Estonian entrepreneurs’ cooperation with Ukrainian business.
«In order that the country's economy could develop, the country itself developed and improved public welfare, a business environment is needed, where investors are convinced that their rights will be guaranteed», — Kaljulaid (quoted from the mass-media) said.
Arricano company considers the visit of the President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid as one more possibility at the highest level to advance the decision of an issue on returning Sky Mall shopping mall to the lawful proprietor. The presidents of both countries paid attention to this long-standing dispute and many Ukrainian mass-media have again turned to this case as the most resonant, demonstrating the relationship between business and the state.
«Publications, tags and streams in the mass-media are a social section that demonstrates the real state of affairs and the society's perception of the most acute problems. After all, independent professional journalists are free to write and talk about the most urgent and painful issues. And no matter how we aspire to develop culture and socially significant spheres, the topic of the rule of law remains the most urgent for civil society. After all, it guarantees fairness, transparency, trust in law enforcement agencies and the judiciary. And as a result, it creates a strong social system of confidence and opens the way for new development. Unfortunately, we currently see that in this respect Ukraine has stopped at a point that is difficult to move from its place. And the President of Estonia also stated that in her interviews for the Ukrainian media», — said Mykhailo Merkulov, the CEO of Arricano.
