As a result of the Russian missile strike, the construction site of the shopping mall on Lukianivka was damaged

On the night of July 19, as a result of another massive missile strike by Russia on Kyiv, the construction site of the shopping and entertainment complex on Lukianivka, which is being developed by Arricano, was damaged. There are no casualties among people.

According to preliminary estimates, the metal structures of the building (beams and trusses), reinforced concrete structures (columns and floors) were damaged, facade structures and sandwich panels were destroyed - approximately more than 70% of their total volume. There was also a partial fire on the roof of the building. According to experts, the scale of destruction this time is much greater than after previous enemy attacks.

"Despite another strike on civilian infrastructure, we maintain a strategic vision for the development of this project.  Each such attack causes significant damage, but does not change our confidence in the future of Ukraine. Currently, a detailed assessment of the consequences of damage is underway, based on the results of which the amount of necessary restoration work and further steps for the implementation of the project will be determined,” said Anna Chubotina, CEO of Arricano.

The construction of the shopping mall on Lukianivka is currently suspended until the relevant competent authorities take the necessary measures to establish the presence of explosive objects on the construction site. In addition, the facility has already suffered damage during previous massive shelling of Kyiv. Arricano plans to return to the active phase of the project after stabilizing the security situation and attracting the necessary financing.
