On May 17, in Prospekt shopping mall, Arricano organized RUBIK'S DAY & Embroidery Day, combining two themes different at first glance— a favorite puzzle of millions and traditional Ukrainian ornaments. The result was a giant installation — an embroidery of more than 1,500 Rubik's cubes, 2.5 meters high, which was jointly created by children and adults in just three hours.

The initiative united people of all ages — from 4 to 67 years old — in an exciting creative process. Participants not only developed logic and motor skills, but also plunged into the depths of the Ukrainian ethnocode, reproducing folk ornaments in a modern format. The installation was created under the guidance of Pixel School, a partner of the event, specializing in the development of children through play.

In addition, visitors joined master classes on assembling a Rubik's cube and other puzzles, creative activities and even a mini tournament on speed-cubing — collecting a Rubik's cube. And also the active participants were waiting for the drawing of prizes from Pixel School and the Ukrainian brand of women's clothing Wear Me.

"We sought not just to attract the community of the shopping mall to our traditional event for the Embroidery Day, but decided to combine two events in order to natively popularize the Ukrainian ornament and involve children in creativity and teamwork within RUBIK'S DAY. After all, the popular puzzle — the Rubik's Cube — helps to develop from an early age in an interesting and useful way, and is also an excellent alternative to gadgets," said Inna Morozova, Marketing Director of Arricano.

Embroidery in the installation of Prospekt shopping mall is a symbol that unites generations. It is also an example of how traditions can live in modern formats, causing interest among young people.
The event received many positive reviews from the Prospekt shopping mall community, so Arricano will hold another event dedicated to the favorite puzzle of millions of people in its Kyiv shopping mall.
