"Superhumans. Light Among Us": Prospekt shopping mall opened a photo exhibition on the power of military and civilian recovery

On October 4, Prospekt shopping mall launched a social project "Light Among Us: Restoration. Integration. Life", designed to support the military and civilians affected by the war, help them recover, return to normal life and find inner balance.

The central event of the project was the opening of the photo exhibition "Superhumans. Light Among Us", created in partnership with Superhumans Center and photographer Yuliia Braverman. The heroes of the exposition were veterans and civilians who suffered from the war, but retained the light — faith, sense of humor, creativity and love of life.

Yuliia managed to see and convey the main thing — the personality of each hero, his inner world and character. The photos show sincere smiles, bold looks, spark of creativity, optimism and synergy that reveal the depth of humanity and the strength of the spirit. It is these details that make the exposition not only artistic, but also deeply emotional.

During the panel discussion with representatives of the Superhumans Center, the participants spoke about what a real culture of communication and respect means today. Superhumans openly shared their own experiences — what triggers the most in communication, what words or reactions can unexpectedly hurt, even if said with good intentions, and why it is important to learn how to offer help delicately.

They also discussed what helps veterans and civilians with injuries to feel "on an equal footing" in everyday life, how society should change approaches to interaction, and what examples of good communication already exist.

The key conclusion of the discussion was the understanding that everyone can take a step towards barrier-free accessibility, starting with simple things — respect, openness, willingness to listen and see, first of all, a person, and not their trauma.

The "Light Among Us" project is not only about a photo exhibition, but about real stories of strength, resilience and recovery. We are developing Prospekt shopping mall as a space where society can better understand veterans, support those who survived the consequences of the war, and be inspired by their example.

We call on conscious business, our partners and colleagues to join the development of the project and help the military and civilians in need of rehabilitation and support. Together, we can do more for those who continue to fight every day — for themselves, for life and for the light inside each of us,” said Inna Morozova, Marketing Director at Arricano.

During the event, the partner of the Foxtrot project presented superhumans with certificates for purchases.

As part of the initiative, Arricano also presented a manual "Let's be open: How to communicate and interact with people with disabilities in society", created with the support of Superhumans Center. Its purpose is to make communication more comfortable for both parties and to overcome prejudices in relation to people with disabilities.

You can view the photos presented at the photo exhibition by following the link, as well as by visiting the Prospekt shopping mall until November 3. The exposition is located on the 1st floor (entrance B).
