On improvement in Vacancy Rates and Visitor Numbers
In a challenging economic period, with no improvement in the purchasing power of Ukrainians, Arricano demonstrates stable growth.
According to the results of 2017 the vacancy of Arricano group's objects was inconsiderable: the vacancy rate in Prospekt shopping mall (Kyiv) is 1.68% (compared to 2.42% in 2016), 4.64% in RayON (Kyiv) (compared to 1.35% in 2016), 0% for the fourth consecutive year in City Mall (Zaporizhia), and 0.35% in Sun Gallery mall (Kryvyi Rih) (compared to 0.18% in 2016).
According to the results of 2017, the occupancy of retail areas in the malls of the Arricano group is 98.65%.
In 2017 Arricano signed 101 new lease agreements with partners covering 11,574 sq.m. of retail space. As a result, in 2017 the weighted average vacancy rate in Arricano's malls decreased by 21%.
The visitor numbers in 2017 also increased by 17.4% compared to 2016. Visitors are attracted by the tenant mix, retail offering, social projects, and the whole comfortable social space created in Arricano's shopping malls.
According to the results of 2017, the traffic in Prospekt shopping mall (Kyiv) is 17.8 million (compared to 13.3 million in 2016), 6.6 million in RayON (Kyiv) (compared to 5.2 million in 2016 results), 6.4 million in City Mall (Zaporizhia) (compared to 5.2 million in 2016), and 4,9 million in Sun Gallery mall (Kryvyi Rih) (compared to 4.7 million in 2016).
