The press office of Arricano Real Estate plc, which had been the owner of Sky Mall before the conflict over properly rights, reported to Ukrainska Pravda that an application about institution of criminal investigation with regard to Oleksandr Hranovsky, MP, has been submitted to the Prosecutor General’s of Cyprus.

“On July 28, Arricano company submitted to the Prosecutor General’s of the Republic of Cyprus and Anti-money laundry Department with a matter about institution of criminal investigation regarding Oleksandr Hranovsky and Andrii Adamovskyi, and persons connected with them”, the company reported to Ukrainska Pravda.

According to the report, the application concerns the fraud and money laundering of USD $ 147 mln. performed through the companies Assofit Holdings Limited and Torsem Co involved in Sky Mall dispute history.

Apart from that, Arricano applied to the local court of Cyprus for the execution of the award of the London Court of International Arbitration dated May 12, 2016, which concerned the transfer of the shares of Assofit Holdings Limited public company (the owner of Sky Mall profit participation rights).

“We had to apply to the local court of Cyprus, because Stockman Interhold S.A. respondent company has completely disregarded the judgment of London Court of International Arbitration – the shares have not been transferred within the stated term. In fact, it is an utter disrespect of the London Court of International Arbitration and arbitrary system as a whole”, they say in the company.

“We must add that after we had applied to the Prosecutor General’s of Cyprus, the London Court of International Arbitration delivered yet another decision in Arricano’s favour, the eighth in succession. The court ruled that our Ukrainian ex- partners have to pay USA $ 900 of court costs incurred by Arricano in course of London litigation”.

It is known that Hranovsky happened to be a member of the team headed by Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko now delegated to Cyprus. Shortly before the delegation has met the Prosecutor General of Cyprus Costas Clerides.

Hranovsky has been long before reported to be connected to the Department of investigation of high importance state economy cases of the Prosecutor General’s.

As reported, Prosecutor General’s of Ukraine is investigating the case of the illegal seizure of Sky Mall that might list Hranovsky among its participators, according to Firsov.

In 2015 Sky Mall shopping centre in Kyiv was a matter of dispute between Ukrainian businessman Andrii Adamovsky and Estonian investor Arricano Real Estate plc, which had been building Sky Mal for 5 years. Because of crisis, the developer invited a Ukrainian investor to the affair. When the agreement expired, Adamovsky refused to sell his share of stock. Hillar Tedder, an Arricano Real Estate plc shareholder, states that Adamovsky desired a larger sum and threatened them with litigation.

Hranovsky is an old partner of Adamovsky. Today, he is a member of the Committee of legal policies and justice of Verkhovna Rada, he is deemed to be close to Ihor Kononenko, MP.

On October 22, English High Court of Justice dismissed an appeal of Stockman Interhold S.A. concerning discharge of the award of London Court of International Arbitration dated August 19, 2014 in favour of Arricano Real Estate plc in the dispute about Sky Mall rights.
