The Arricano Group in Ukraine summed up social and charitable initiatives in 2024

Arricano Group of Companies in Ukraine — the leading developer and operator of four shopping malls (Prospekt shopping mall, RayON shopping mall, Sun Gallery shopping mall and CITY MALL) — has been actively implementing charitable projects and initiatives aimed at helping the Defense Forces of Ukraine, community development and people support since the beginning of the full-scale war.

“We have always understood the role that company facilities play for local communities, so from the first days of the large-scale invasion, we have accumulated resources and done everything to help those in need,” says Anna Chubotina, General Director of Arricano Real Estate LLC, which manages Arricano facilities in Ukraine. "Despite the fact that in 2024, the Group's business was under constant pressure from law enforcement agencies, we continued to invest in the implementation of social and charitable projects."

The key direction for the Group was and remains assistance to the Defense Forces of Ukraine. In 2024, the companies of the Arricano Group in Ukraine transferred more than UAH 4.2 million for the purchase of DJI Mavic 3 drones, 4-channel electronic warfare systems, batteries for FPV drones, Bandera Power 430 S charging stations, EcoFlow DELTA 2 MAX, tactical medicine, etc. The partners of these initiatives were the NGO "Zghraia UA", the "Burevii" brigade of the NGU, the NGO "Union of the Wounded Military of Ukraine "Strong 300" and other volunteer organizations and foundations.

The second important area of the CSR strategy is community support. To implement this intention, in 2024, the Group's companies initiated a number of charitable and social projects, including a large charitable concert with fundraising for the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children No.1, a socially important initiative for the International Day of the Elderly, a cycle of events "Caring Saturdays" with free medical consultations from leading practitioners, primary examinations and art therapy spaces, Sports Days, City Picnic, Mother Ralax Day and much more.

In addition, Arricano focused its attention on cultural and educational events and support for the educational sphere. Thus, within the framework of the charity event "Prepare your child for the school", Arricano in Ukraine provided targeted assistance to IDP children and provided the Educational Hub — a project for teachers displaced from the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region, with the necessary materials for the uninterrupted implementation of educational programs. The company implemented several joint projects with proactive students of leading universities — Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Mariupol State University, National University "Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic", National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine, Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University.

In addition, the Group's companies supported large and low-income families throughout the year. Among such initiatives are the project "Give a Happy Moment", which was implemented by the team of the Prospekt shopping mall and the Dobriak Charitable Foundation with the involvement of partners and visitors, as well as the presentation of traditional New Year's gifts to children from large families of the NGO "SHCHASLYVA".

For many years, environmental initiatives and animal assistance have been a separate area of social activity of Arricano Group companies in Ukraine. In April, the developer, together with the Prospekt shopping mall community, traditionally planted catalpas, lilacs, as well as forsythia and spirea bushes in the DShK park in Kyiv. Thus, the green area, which has been taken care of by the shopping mall since 2023, has been significantly expanded. Kryvyi Rih residents joined the environmental actions of the Sun Gallery shopping mall for cleaning and improvement, and the CITY MALL rallied the Zaporizhzhia residents on the spring toloka. Also during the year, Arricano Group shopping malls in Ukraine supported animal shelters, collecting food, warm clothes and other necessary things.

"Arricano will continue to create conditions for the development of communities, support the military and implement initiatives, because we are confident that the system business should remain responsible despite any external circumstances," added Anna Chubotina, General Director of the management company.
