In April, Arricano, together with partners and the community of Prospekt shopping mall, once again united the residents of Kyiv for good deeds — greening, cleanliness, sports and active leisure. The initiative, timed to coincide with World Earth Day, was inspired by the start of a month of conscious attitude towards nature.

On April 5, with the support of the State Administration of Desnianskyi district in Kyiv, the Department of Improvement and Entrepreneurship, and the Kyivzelenbud Municipal Enterprise for the Maintenance of Greenery of the Desnianskyi district, the DShK city park turned into a space of interaction and inspiration: traditionally, Arricano initiated the landscaping of the area next to the Prospekt shopping mall and, together with teams of socially responsible partner companies and leading universities of Ukraine, planted 10 large maple (Spanish) plane trees and 65 lilac bushes. Supported eco-initiatives: MULTIPLEX, Auchan Ukraine, Greek House, DECATHLON, Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" of Ukraine, Kyiv City Organization of the Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine.

In addition, the participants joined the plogging relay and collected dozens of kilograms of garbage in order to give the environment a cleanliness, and to give themselves a sense of an important contribution.

This year, the Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" of Ukraine became a special partner of GREEN MONTH. In particular, the initiative was supported by the head of the Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" of Ukraine Mykola Danevych; Deputy of the Kyiv City Council, Chairman of the Athletes' Commission of the National Olympic Committee, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, World Judo Champion Georgii Zantaraia. Together with other athletes, they planted a name tree on a new alley, as well as inspired young people to train and awakened the desire for movement, strength and personal sports triumphs.

The event was attended by star guests — outstanding athletes and successful Dynamo-players Ihor Radivilov, Ihor Honcharenko, Tetiana Ustiuzhanina and legendary sports journalist Valentyn Shcherbachov.

"For more than 100 years, the Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" of Ukraine, together with athletes, coaches, law enforcement officers, special services and active Ukrainians, has been creating the sports history of Ukraine. We are successfully developing Ukrainian sports and actively involving Ukrainians in a healthy lifestyle and mass sports. On April 5, the team of the Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" of Ukraine joined the Arricano eco-initiatives. Such synergy of cooperation between a sports organization and business once again demonstrates the role of sports as a force that unites and promotes positive changes in society," said Mykola Danevych, Head of the Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" of Ukraine.

On the second floor of the shopping mall there are sports locations of the project "Active Parks — the Way to Victory": floorball, voli (a modern alternative to badminton), table tennis, disc golf, panna football, cornhole and fitness platform, organized by the All-Ukrainian Center for Physical Health of the Population "Sport for All" with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. Demonstrative performances of athletes of the Kyiv city Organization of the Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" of Ukraine in fencing, cheerleading, sambo wrestling and the ISO self-defense team, as well as a sports quiz from the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine Tetiana Ustiuzhanina with branded gifts from the Physical Culture and Sports Society "Dynamo" of Ukraine added special energy.

Students and teachers of leading universities of Ukraine also joined the initiative: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (in particular, the Faculty of Geography), as well as the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine. Teams led by Liudmyla Bilous, Head of the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv) and Tetiana Kharchuk, Head of the Department of Management and Economics of Sports (National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine) took an active part in the plogging relay, tree planting and sports activities. In addition, National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine teachers Dmytro Khurtyk and Zoia Smirnova conducted a unique relay with biathlon elements inside Prospekt shopping mall, and students encouraged the audience to participate in the movement, a master class in aerobics, training in plastics and stretching.

The Sport Life fitness club network organized Zumba dance training, as well as "Funny Starts" for the youngest ones.

The participants of the event had the opportunity to take part in the draw of gifts, take pictures and communicate with sports professionals, take the first step into their sports career.
