Arricano, a leading developer of shopping malls in Ukraine, will replace Auchan Ukraine with a new product operator in Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih in 2024. 

At the end of 2021, Arricano, responding to the wishes of customers of Sun Gallery and CITY MALL shopping malls, decided to change the tenant mix of shopping malls in accordance with the economic situation, market development trends and consumer needs and priorities.

The grocery group is one of the key ones in shopping malls, so first of all, the replacement of the Auchan Ukraine hypermarket in both shopping malls was planned. Due to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russia in February 2022, this issue faded into the background. Auchan Ukraine continued its work in the first most difficult months of the full-scale war, when Arricano shopping malls took over the function of critical infrastructure: they helped and supported the communities of Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia, provided citizens with food and essential goods. However, now, realizing that buyers are waiting for the change, Arricano decided to implement the previously made decision.

Arricano will strengthen and diversify its shopping malls with popular and in-demand brands that residents of Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia are waiting for. Sun Gallery and CITY MALL shopping malls will have opportunities to open new outlets and create additional jobs to support the Ukrainian economy.

Arricano will announce who will become the new product operator of key shopping malls in two cities of Ukraine and what other changes await visitors to the Sun Gallery and CITY MALL shopping malls in the near future.

At the moment, the Sun Gallery shopping mall in Kryvyi Rih is temporarily closed. At the same time, the shopping mall team is working to ensure that the product operator resumes its work in the near future among the first ones.
