Arricano, a leading developer of shopping malls in Ukraine, attracts active youth of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv to create a green public space for residents of the Desnyanskyi district of the capital and guests of RayON shopping mall.

In 2022, Arricano signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv to coordinate efforts in the field of science, creative and educational development of the community and the implementation of the CSR strategy of the company and the university. Since the beginning of cooperation, students and teachers of the country's leading university have been actively involved in the development and implementation of social, entertainment and educational initiatives in the Arricano shopping mall.

At the end of 2023, the developer of shopping malls organized a competition for the best social landscaping project for the RayON shopping mall, which was attended by teachers and students of the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology of the Faculty of Geography of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. 

"Arricano strives to create a green comfortable space for the community of RayON shopping mall and for the entire Desnianskyi district. We make sure that staying on the territory of the shopping mall gives our visitors only positive emotions and encourages them to return to RayON shopping mall again. In addition, the company attracts talented and creative students who are a significant driver of change in our society. We provide students with the space to implement their best ideas, the opportunity to try themselves in the business and see the result of their efforts. We are convinced that the result of the synergy of business and students will be the creation of a unique green space for recreation in Desnyanskyi district,"said Inna Morozova, Marketing Director of Arricano. 

6 participants joined the 1st stage of the competition: Polina Hutsova, Mariia Kotelnikova, Mariia Kandii, Yelyzaveta Temchenko, Anastasiia Slipchuk, Rostyslav Lylyk. Each student presented his own idea and concept of space, developed a scheme for the distribution of areas of the territory, determined the necessary materials for work, chose green spaces and decorative elements of the site, which in the future will form a unique garden and park complex. 

The Arricano team has already held several joint working meetings with students and teachers of the Faculty of Geography of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and joint work on the project continues. The winner, in addition to the main prize, will get a unique chance to integrate into the work on landscaping the capital, gain valuable practical experience and form an excellent portfolio case while studying at the university.

In 2024, Arricano is preparing even more environmental initiatives aimed at educating society and creating green spaces in the capital.
