Arricano continues the cycle of social events - Caring Saturdays

Arricano, a  leading developer of shopping malls in Ukraine, encourages visitors to take care of the most important thing —  their physical and mental health in order to be able to take care of others. The company has repeatedly spent days taking care of itself in its shopping malls, organizing a cycle of free social events - Caring Saturdays - for the shopping mall community.

On October 14, Prospekt shopping mall, with the support of OncoStop Charitable Foundation, held Caring Saturdays to remind visitors of the importance of undergoing an annual medical examination and early diagnosis, which helps to avoid critical consequences.

Together with the doctors of the OncoStop Charitable Foundation, Prospekt shopping mall provided all Ukrainians with the opportunity to undergo free skin melanoma screening with practicing dermatologists of Ukraine, listen to the speeches of leading doctors: psychologist Yelyzaveta Zelenko, oncology surgeon Yaroslav Nazarov, ambassador of the OncoStop Charitable Foundation, chairman of the Union of the Wounded of Ukraine "Strong 300" Andrii Kucher, and obstetrician-gynecologist Roman Pokhodun.  During the Caring Saturdays social event on October 14, more than 150 people, including children, had their skin checked for melanoma. Visitors learned about what to do if a person with suspected cancer refuses further diagnosis; when to seek help from a medical psychologist; who should especially pay attention to regular checkups; how to properly support a person who has an oncological diagnosis; and much more.

In addition, Prospekt shopping mall opened a thematic socially important exhibition in order to raise the level of awareness of the population about cancer and instill in society a culture of taking preventive measures – timely diagnosis by professional specialists.
