On October 9, 2017, Arricano Real Estate PLC became a member of the Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance (UNIC) and signed a Memorandum on Transparent Business, readiness to improve and maintain its integrity and compliance culture, promote the ethical business principle in Ukraine according to the best international practices.

The purpose of the Network, initiated by the Business Ombudsman's Council with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, is the responsible companies' unification throughout Ukraine and the ethical business conduct idea promotion through educational activities, the development of policies and programs that promote the development of compliance in both companies, and in the business environment in general, an annual assessment of the organization members' compliance level.

Business Ombudsman Algirdas Shemeta, the initiator of the Network, notes that the responsible business unification is also a step in countering corruption: «The counteraction is on the side of demand against corruption. We focus on the proposal - if the business behaves ethically, it will help reducing the lawlessness level. One of the Network's key goals is to provide companies with tools and procedures, in case of their absence, to introduce the compliance».

The Network's goals and objectives, the current members' number, management and financing bodies were defined on the first constitutive meeting, which took place on October 9 and is considered to be the official day of the Network's launching.

On May 19, 2017, Arricano, among 46 companies from the initiative group, has signed the Declaration on Ukrainian Network of Integrity and Compliance creation, passed a self-assessment on the questionnaire developed according to ISO 37001 standards, reputational verification by open sources and became the Network's member, assuming the obligations of transparent doing business and promoting a culture of transparent business.

Viktoriia Baliuk, The Head of the Legal Department (Non-Residents) of Arricano Group, stresses: «We, the members of the Network, want to show by our example to the business community that good conduct and compliance within companies lead to the responsible business idea development at the country level. We invite all companies with whom we cooperate, Arricano's partners, to join the Network».

A company of any size, any industry that has the intention to introduce high standards of integrity in the business conduct can become the Network's member. Today the Network includes 42 companies. UNIC plans to develop a network of up to 100 companies during the year.
