Arricano - an active participant of RETAIL & DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS EXPO - 2018

On March 29-30, 2018, Arricano Real Estate Plc became a participant of RETAIL & DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS EXPO - 2018, the largest specialized international exhibition of the retail and development industry in Ukraine. More than 2500 visitors from 7 countries - retailers, developers, brokerage and consorting companies, b2b companies and investors - got acquainted with the participants of the exhibition, where more than 75 companies were represented; they discussed topical issues of the industry within the speakers' presentations and studied cases from the successful Ukrainian and international retail companies within a two-day business conference.
Arricano has traditionally become the exhibition participant, using a large industry event to meet and negotiate with potential partners, to share experiences and to explore innovative solutions in the industry. This year, the stand presented an interactive table made by the Ukrainian developers - the Kodisoft company, by using which you can implement entertainment and service functions in the shopping mall and also collect data about users and analyze them. Thus, Arricano together with Kodisoft have studied the retailers' opinion about the know-how and its effectiveness, and also conducted their own research.
In addition to the exhibition, Arricano took part in a practical conference. Nataliia Dmytrenko, the company's Marketing Director, was one of the speakers of the discussion on the topic «From the Classical Shopping Mall to the Lifestyle Mall». Iryna Kruppa (IFC Guliver), Brian Handley (TSUM Kyiv), Maksym Havryushyn (Budhouse Group) were the participants of this discussion panel, which was moderated by Oleksandr Fialka (Retail & Development Advisor). «The Arricano team has considerable experience in transforming the shopping mall into a comfortable social space, and we, as well as many our market colleagues, are ready to share it. The topic proposed by the organizers is very relevant, the consumer's lifestyle significantly influences the consumption culture today», - notes Nataliia Dmytrenko. – «The shopping center, being the intersection point for very different lifestyle patterns, must meet the challenges and become more than just the shopping place for the consumer. This is a great challenge for every shopping mall».
The RETAIL & DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS EXPO organizers are going to increase their turnover for the next year, further expand the audience, and also qualitatively increase the international companies' presence. Andrii Zhuk, the Head of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of Retailers, the RDBE organizer, said: «We, being the organizers, are pleased to be involved in the formation culture of the industrial event of this scale in Ukraine. In the previous year, the RDBE has already shown itself as an ideal meeting place with existing and new business partners. This year, the exhibition has confirmed itself in this status. We've managed to make the exposition even more expanded - by 40% compared to previous year».
