On 10 October modateka NAMES’UA opens its doors to customers on the eve of 37 Fashion week
On 10 October the innovative multi-branded department store modateka NAMES’UA opened its doors to customers in Prospect shopping complex. On the gross sales floor area of 1,000 sq.m. visitors can browse through men and women’s clothing, shoes and accessories made by Ukrainian designers and manufacturers and later relax at a cosy “meeting place” cafeteria.
“In this day and age such innovative retailing formats are in demand by customers, - says Mikhail Merkulov, Arricano Real Estate plc CEO, - as our visitors now expect a shopping complex to offer a lot more than mere shopping for goods. Consumers have become more discerning - the good quality-price ratio is no longer enough, they expect surprises, added value, convenience and comfort. NAMES’UA is the project capable of meeting these expectations, an island where the visitor is instantly transferred to a welcoming environment of fashion’ua”.
Modateka NAMES’UA is a conceptual ambience where the commercial, formative and educational aspects are merged into one. KarKatFashion, a leading retailer and the creator of NAMES’UA, Arricano, leading SEC developer and operator and Ukrainian designers are confident that modateka will become the centre of gravity for those who seek to buy “Ukrainian fashion”.
NAMES’UA features a multitude of trendy articles from Ukrainian designer brands such as a.TaN by Andre Tan, Dolchedonna, RITO, LUKIS, GASSE by Aina Gasse, BOBKOVA, LAKE, BURENINA, Z-ZALEVSKIY, VOROZHBYT&ZEMSKOVA, Nai Lu-na, ANASTASIIA IVANOVA, MILLER, SEASON, ViloNNa, FRIDAY, ANNA SOREL, ELENA IZOTOVA, Cocoapani, MR 520¬, JENADIN, MANNER'A, CREATERRA, Seven Mountains, HUMAN DESIGN LAB, M.I.SH.A, 2 Friends, Helena Romanova, ZEKH 78, Anna SUN, Romanika Style and SMALIY among others. NAMES’UA intends to continuously expand the range, e.g. by the end of October season novelties will be added to collections of ТМ BOBKOVA, Oksana KARAVANSKAYA and BOROVIK.
“When making a decision on which brands and manufacturers to invite to our project, we gave priority to those designers and manufacturers who could offer the widest selection of seasonal clothing in all clothing sizes in medium and medium plus price segment, - explains Tatiana Burkatskaya, NAMES’UA project manager from Arricano. – The space arrangement concept dictates that modateka NAMES’UA should carry a broad range of desirable fashion goods, and for this reason we first inspect the collections and assemble them in such a way as to enable the customer to create their personal holistic style”.
The space inside NAMES’UA is arranged in a manner that enables instant identification of each designer. Designer’s original in-store fixtures are ideally suited to display not only conceptual products, but also brandnames carrying between 300 and 400 units range. Eight spacious changing rooms provide maximum comfort for customers. “Our sales assistants help our guests get oriented in items on offer to create that special personalised style, and from 20 October onwards professional stylists will be available in-store. To receive free help and guidance from a fashion stylist, one only needs to make an appointment. Our lounge area, a place for friendly meetings and a stylish cafeteria give that extra touch to our inner ambience. Here we will hold events where visitors will be able to become acquainted with Ukrainian designers, local and international fashion trends and be submerged in the world of style and beauty”, - explains Antonina Golovko, NAMES’UA project manager from KarKatFashion.
“Interestingly, NAMES’UA was opened on the eve of 37 Ukrainian Fashion Week, which sets fashion trends for the next season, - continues Tatiana Burkatskaya. – And it is logical that NAMES’UA features items from designers who will exhibit their new collections at the fashion week shows. They include but not limited to ANDRE TAN, RITO, LUDMILA KISLENKO, ZALEVSKIY, BOBKOVA, ELENA BURENINA, ANASTASIIA IVANOVA, VOROZHBYT&ZEMSKOVA and ELENA GOLETS. These names are shaping style and fashion trends of tomorrow”. Modateka NAMES’UA is sponsoring the online broadcasting of 37 Ukrainian Fashion Week fashion shows at betv.com.ua channel. It gives fashion aficionados a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with seasonal fashion trends.
